Terms of service

The terms you're agreeing to.

Plain language, because terms nobody reads protect nobody. If anything here is unclear, email and ask before you pay for anything.

In effect from: 27 July 2026. Provider: ShipThisWeek, contact hello@shipthisweek.com. In these terms "we" and "us" mean ShipThisWeek, and "you" means the person or company buying the service.

1. What the service is

We finish the launch layer for software that already works: the landing page, positioning and copy, pricing, a connection to your existing checkout, success and cancel pages, and basic analytics. We do not build your product.

2. The written scope decides

Every project is defined by a written scope and an invoice. Anything outside that is quoted and agreed separately. If the scope and anything on this website ever disagree, the scope wins.

3. Milestones and payment

Work is delivered in three milestones: $99 Proof Sprint, then $150 Full Build, then $150 Final Handoff, unless something different is agreed in writing. Each milestone is paid before it starts and the payment is verified before work begins. Payment is in the cryptocurrency and on the network stated on the invoice, unless another method is agreed in writing first. A screenshot is not confirmation of payment.

4. Delivery

Delivery time starts when the payment is verified and all the information and assets we need have arrived, not when the order is placed. The Proof Sprint carries a 48 hour delivery guarantee with the exclusions set out on the risk page.

5. Revisions

One consolidated round of revisions is included in the full project. Further changes are quoted separately.

6. What you're responsible for

  • You own, or are allowed to use, everything you send us
  • Your product is lawful where it operates
  • You send the assets and feedback we need without long gaps, since delivery timelines depend on it

7. Ownership and transfer

Ownership of the final source code, and deployment to production, transfer to you once the final milestone payment is confirmed. Until then the work is provided on private staging for review. The staging build is never watermarked or deliberately broken.

8. What we don't promise

We do not promise sales, conversions, revenue, signups, funding, search rankings, or any business outcome. The only guarantee offered is the narrow 48 hour Proof Sprint delivery guarantee. Anyone promising you the rest is guessing.

9. Refunds

Refunds are limited to the 48 hour Proof Sprint delivery guarantee and are reviewed case by case. They are not automatic. If you stop after a completed milestone you keep everything delivered for it and owe nothing further, but completed milestones are not refunded.

10. Confidentiality

Each of us keeps the other's non-public information private and uses it only to do the work. That includes your product, your metrics and anything unreleased you show us.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the milestone the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses such as lost profit or lost data.

12. Ending the work

Either of us can stop after any completed milestone. You keep everything already paid for.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the Provider is established. If something goes wrong, the first step is to email and try to sort it out directly, which resolves almost everything. Where that fails, a dispute is resolved in the courts of that country.

14. Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The version in effect when your scope is agreed is the version that applies to your project, so a later edit here does not alter what you already agreed to.

Where we're registeredShipThisWeek is a new independent service and does not yet trade through a registered company, so no entity is named above. Clause 13 points at the country where the Provider is established rather than naming one, because naming a country we have no presence in would be worse than saying nothing. If you need that pinned down before paying, email and ask. You'll get a straight answer instead of a runaround.
